Frequently Asked Questions

How do I change the school logo that appears on fee receipts?

Go to Settings → School Settings → scroll to the logo upload section. Upload a PNG or JPEG logo (recommended size: 200×60 px). This logo appears on all printed invoices, certificates, and report cards.

Can I create a role that only allows collecting fees, nothing else?

Yes. Go to Settings → Roles → Add Role. Name it "Fee Collector". Give it View + Add permissions only on Student Accounting, and View-only on Student Details. Remove all other module permissions.

What happens if I change the active session to a new year?

All new entries (attendance, fees, marks) will be recorded under the new session. Old data from the previous session remains accessible by switching sessions in the filter dropdowns on each page.

I enabled a Custom Field but it's not showing in the Add Student form. Why?

Custom fields appear at the bottom of the Add Student form under a "Custom Fields" heading. Scroll down in the form to see them. Also make sure the field is set to visible/active in Settings → Custom Fields.
