Share study materials and assign homework to students. Path: Sidebar → Academic → Attachments & Homework.

Upload and share files (PDFs, notes, question papers, images) with students of a specific class/section. Students can download these from their portal.
From the Attachments page, click the Add button.
Title (Required) — A short name for the file (e.g. "Chapter 5 Notes", "Mid-Term Question Paper").
Class (Required) — Which class can see this file.
Section (Optional) — Leave blank to share with all sections.
Attachment Type — Select from available types (PDF, Image, etc.) or create a new Type.
File (Required) — Upload the file. Max size per your server settings (typically 10–20 MB).
Description (Optional) — Brief note about the file.
The file is uploaded and immediately visible to the selected students in their portal.
Create categories for your attachments — e.g. "Notes", "Question Papers", "Syllabus", "Circular". These appear as a filter on the Attachments list so students can find files easily.

Assign homework to specific classes/sections with a submission date. Students see it in their portal and parents see it in the parent app.
Class (Required) — Target class.
Section (Optional) — Specific section, or all sections.
Subject (Required) — Which subject this homework belongs to.
Homework Date (Required) — The date the homework was assigned.
Submission Date (Required) — Last date for submission.
Description (Required) — The actual homework instructions/questions.
Attachment (Optional) — Upload a supporting file (e.g. worksheet PDF).
Homework is saved. If WhatsApp notifications are enabled, parents are notified automatically.
View a report of all homework assigned — filter by Class, Section, Subject, and Date Range. Shows which homework has passed the submission date.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can students submit homework through the portal?
Yes, if the student submission feature is enabled. Students can upload a file or write text as their homework submission from the Student Portal. You can view all submissions from the Homework list → click on any homework to see submissions.
How do I send a homework notification to parents via WhatsApp?
If WhatsApp integration is configured and homework notifications are enabled in WhatsApp → Settings → Notification Settings, parents automatically receive a WhatsApp message when new homework is added for their child's class.
