Frequently Asked Questions

Can a teacher see only their own class's data?

Yes. In Settings → Roles, you can configure a Teacher role with permission to view and mark attendance only for classes assigned to them. The Role permission system is highly granular.

How do I assign a class teacher to a class?

Go to Academic → Class & Section → Assign Class Teacher. Select the class, section, and the teacher from the employee list.

Can I have two employees with the same mobile number?

No. Mobile numbers must be unique per employee. If a teacher has left and a new teacher joins with the same number, first disable the old employee's account.

How do I disable an employee who has left?

Go to Employee → View, find the employee, click Edit, and change their status to Inactive or Disabled. Their data is preserved but they can no longer log in.
