Last Updated: June 1, 2026

1. Policy Overview

ProSchool360 respects your right to data privacy and digital autonomy. Educational institutions, students, parents, and staff members have the right to request the deletion of their personal data from our cloud databases in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, GDPR, and other global data privacy regulations.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request data deletion, please follow these step-by-step instructions:

  1. Send an email to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@proschool360.com or our support desk at support@proschool360.com.
  2. The email must be sent from the registered email address associated with your ProSchool360 account.
  3. State your full name, registered mobile phone number, associated school or educational institution name, and your system role (e.g., Administrator, Teacher, Parent, Student).
  4. Clearly specify the scope of deletion requested (e.g., deletion of a specific student profile, parent account, or termination and total deletion of the entire school's instance).

3. Deletion Timeline & SLA

Upon receiving a valid data deletion request, we will verify the sender's identity to prevent unauthorized deletion. Once verified:

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge your request within 24 hours.
  • Processing SLA: The complete deletion of the specified datasets will be carried out within 30 calendar days maximum (aligning with GDPR and DPDP Act timelines).
  • Confirmation: A final deletion confirmation certificate will be sent to you via email.

4. Data Retained vs. Deleted

When a deletion request is processed:

  • What is permanently deleted: User credentials, profile photos, personal phone numbers, system logs, chat histories, homework submissions, and localized settings.
  • What may be retained: Certain transactional logs (related to fee collections and payments) must be retained for financial audit and compliance reasons in accordance with tax laws. Additionally, anonymized historical performance aggregates may be kept to maintain school-wide academic integrity, provided they contain no personally identifiable information (PII).

5. Third-Party Platform Integrations

If you have linked your ProSchool360 account with third-party single sign-on (SSO) systems (such as Google Workspaces or Facebook login services), deleting your data on ProSchool360 will disconnect these integrations. You can also initiate deletion requests directly through your Meta App settings under "Apps and Websites" by searching for ProSchool360 and clicking "Remove".
